MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Making lasting connections within our community

Our Community Centre

We’re a small, charity-run community centre in Auchendinny. Our overarching aim is to help to build, encourage and sustain lasting connections within our community and beyond. We’re here for everyone, no matter what you do, how old you are, where you’re from, or who you love, there’s something for you at the Glencorse Centre.

We have a lovely community hall where lots of small local businesses run classes including yoga, baby massage, fitness classes, dances classes for all ages, art classes, mental health and wellbeing groups, local craft groups and more. To find out more about the classes and activities we facilitate, check out What’s on at the Centre page.

We are working our socks off to redesign and rebuild the once derelict community and turn it into a community green space where everyone is welcome and can take part. Take a peek at our Community Garden page for more info.

We’re also proud to host the Penicuik Men’s Shed since February this year. This fantastic local charity shares our core values, and we’re so pleased we could offer them a home so they can keep doing the great work they do.
