Hours: 16 hours per week – flexible hours available

Location: Glencorse Centre, Auchendinny (on-site)

Salary: £14 per hour (£11,648 per year)

Contract: Fixed term contract until end of March 2027 (hope to extend if funding permits)

If so, you could be a great fit as the Glencorse Association’s new Volunteer Coordinator.

This role is new for us. We are looking for someone who can harness the passion and skills of a dedicated group of volunteers to enrich our community.

You’ll also be tasked with creating new volunteer roles, recruiting and supporting volunteers.

In the spring, summer and harvest months, expect to be out in our community garden providing guidance to volunteers and sharing skills. You’ll be teaching garden skills to our ‘Plots for Tots’ group and running regular engagement sessions for keen grown up garden volunteers! In the winter, expect to be consolidating, planning and getting ready to start all over again!

You’ll also support our wider volunteer coordination in the Glencorse Centre, coaching volunteers, introducing rota’s systems and planning.
