Come to our Community Winter Craft Fair

We're delighted to announce that we'll be having our annual Community Winter Craft Fair on Saturday 11th November 2023 from 10am to 4pm.

We'll have all sorts of locally crafted goodies and the wonderful Brae Cafe will be serving delicious food and treats.

If you're interested in hiring a table for the fair, please fill out our expression on interest form below. We’ll add you to our waiting list and get in touch to confirm once bookings are open.

If you don’t have a facebook page or website, please email photos of your items to enquiries@glencorseassociation.org.uk under the heading ‘Community Winter Craft Fair - Expression of interest’ once you have filled out this form.

As we prepare for this fantastic event, here are a few common questions and answers that we hope will be helpful

HOW MUCH SHOULD I PAY FOR MY STALL IF I DON'T WANT TO DONATE A AFFLE PRIZE?

You should pay £35 for your stall hire, but £10 of this will be refunded to you at the end of the event.

Basic stall hire is £25 and includes the use of a 6 foot table in our community hall.

There is a fully refundable £10 deposit which we will return to you in cash on the day at 4pm.

This is to encourage everyone to abide by the stallholder T&Cs and remain until the Winter Craft Fair ends at 4pm.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I PAY FOR MY STALL IF I WANT TO DONATE A RAFFLE PRIZE?

If you would like to donate one of your handmade items to our charity fundraiser raffle to support the centre, we will deduct £5 from the stallholder as a thank you for your generosity.

If you donate a prize, you only need to send us a payment of £30 (£20 for the stall hire and the refundable £10 deposit).

***** If you haven't paid the full amount including the deposit, please ensure you pay by 20th October which is the deadline. *****

WHERE SHOULD I MAKE PAYMENT TO?

Please make payment to the account below, using your surname as a payment reference.

NAME: THE GLENCORSE ASSOCIATION

ACCOUNT NUMBER: 00 67 48 20

SORT CODE: 83-26-10

WHAT IS MY TABLE NUMBER?

We usually supply table numbers before the craft fair, but this year we won't be doing this.

Instead, we will have a map of the hall on the day with your name on it so you know where you'll be.

WHEN CAN I GET IN TO SET UP?

You will be welcomed in at 9am so that you can bring your items in and set up your stall.

CAN I HAVE EARLY ACCESS?

No early access is allowed to allow staff and volunteers to do all safety checks before entry at 9am.

I ASKED TO HAVE SPACE FOR A RAIL BY MY TABLE , WILL THERE BE SPACE?

We'll ensure that you have space for a rail if you have requested this.

WHY DO YOU CHARGE FOR STALL HIRE?

The Glencorse Centre is a small local charity which is not funded by the government or the council.

We rely on grants, charitable donations, the income from letting out our community hall, and especially fundraisers like this.

By paying a stall hire fee, you are helping to keep your local charity-run community centre going.

If you would like to make an additional donation, you can do so here: https://localgiving.org/charity/the-glencorse-association/

WHAT IF I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT MEANS I NEED MY STALL TO BE LOCATED SOMEWHERE SPECIFIC?

Please let us know as soon as you can, and we will do everything we can to accommodate any specific requirements you might have.

YOUR CAR PARK IS A WEIRD KIDNEY BEAN SHAPE, WHERE DO I PARK?

Please park close to the centre entrance to unload then move your car onto the grass area around the car park.

You will need to bump up onto the grass. This is to allow for people to come to the craft fair and buy your wonderful goodies!

I'LL BE PARCHED BY THE TIME I'VE SET UP MY STALL, WILL I GET A BREW?

We'll set up a tea & coffee table for stall holders only so you can help yourself to a brew at any point during the craft fair.

We'll have dairy milk and oat milk. If you have any other dietary requirements, please let us know.

I'LL BE AT MY STALL BY MYSELF, I CAN'T LEAVE THE STALL, BUT I DON'T WANT TO STARVE TO DEATH, WHAT DO I DO?

Our centre staff will happily take your orders and bring food to your stall, we won't leave you hanging. Just look for someone in dungarees!

We can't wait to welcome you (back) to our Winter Craft Fair!

From the whole Glencorse Team and the Brae Cafe!
