THE GLENCORSE CENTRE IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT AS PART OF OUR TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY, WE ARE GOING BACK TO OUR ROOTS AND RE-OPENING OUR COMMUNITY CAFE.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE AMAZING BRAE CAFE AND THE LOVELY LADIES FOR THEIR ENTHUSIASTIC INVOLVEMENT AT THE CENTRE AND FOR INSPIRING US TO MOVE FORWARD.

HOT ROLLS WILL BE BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! OUR WONDERFUL COMMUNITY CAFE WILL RE-OPEN ON WEDNESDAY 24TH JANUARY AT 10AM - WATCH THIS SPACE FOR FURTHER UPDATES ON OPENING HOURS AND EXCITING NEW MENU.

Community Plant Sale fundraiser

For the first time, we're holding a plant sale at the Glencorse Centre on Friday 26th May from 1pm to 4pm - come along to stock up on bedding plants, herbs and veg! We'll have marigolds, asters, sweet peas, alyssum, pansies and more! For the foodies out there, we'll have tomato plants, strawberry plants, cabbages, leeks and herbs such as spearmint, marjoram, lemon balm and parsley!

All plants are grown here in the Glencorse Community Garden by our tireless volunteer Davie and his motley crew. Bring along your left-over seeds and swap them for more exciting ones at the seed swap table! If you're spring cleaning your greenhouse or garden, why not donate excess plants, pots or planters for this charity fundraiser? Email garden@glencorseassociation.org.uk for more info.

The plants we have on the day may vary as we're relying on the weather to behave and the slugs to stay away from our precious seedlings…

We're planting trees at the Glencorse Centre

Our first tree planting day was a huge success with the Green Team planting 600 trees on Friday. Thanks to The Conservation Volunteers for the trees! We'll be holding more tree-planting days over the next few weeks, to get involved, email garden@glencorseassociation.org.uk.

Getting our raised beds in the new nursery garden

Thanks to Wellbeing Essentials for their kind donation of timber, and special thanks to our fantastic garden volunteer Mark who has measured, measured again, sawn, drilled and screwed together plank after plank! All of your fantastic efforts will allow our Glencorse Garden Club to get planting this spring.

14th January 2023: Saturday Café re-opening

The Saturday Café is coming back due to popular demand in 2023! Bring family and friends along for a fun and totally free introduction to pétanque and grab a cuppa and tasty treat while you play. This Saturday 14th January 2023 from 10am-2pm (1pm for future Saturdays).

Funding for The Glencorse Centre garden received
